  • Pay High commission rates if they are a direct employee
  • Pay Higher percent of product sales
  • Provide Training on their trade Skills
  • Provide training on how they can grow professionally (customer service, conversation, 
  • Help them market - pay or co-sponsor good marketing such as direct mail
  • Growth strategies that will help grow their business and yours
  • Insist on references
  • Document expectations
  • Provide web presense
  • Give spiff for increasing their own client base
  • Have front desk do appontment reminders
  • As part of branding, provide biz cards
  • Set expectations very very clear in the interview
  • define key rules so you can qualify OUT someone who you don't want (ie, drugs, lazy, cleaning up, who does what, when they are expected to be there, etc...

  • Set the culture...If you don't "define" the culture the way you want, it will be a culture by default
